RF Microneedling

Combine radiofrequency energy and micro-needles for deep dermal remodeling and skin tightening.

Radiofrequency (RF) Microneedling is one of the most powerful and advanced treatments available in aesthetic dermatology. This hybrid technology combines the physical collagen-stimulating benefits of traditional microneedling with the deep-tissue tightening power of Radiofrequency thermal energy. The device uses gold-plated, insulated micro-needles to physically penetrate the skin. Once the needles reach the target depth in the dermis, they release a precise burst of RF heat. Because the needles are insulated, the top layer of the skin (epidermis) is protected from heat damage, making this an exceptionally safe and effective treatment for all skin tones.

Expected progression of results

While you may experience mild swelling and redness for 24 to 48 hours, the true biological magic happens deep within. The structural improvements—smoother scars and tighter skin—manifest progressively over 3 to 6 months as the newly synthesized collagen matrix matures and strengthens.

Frequently Asked Questions About RF Microneedling

How is RF Microneedling different from normal microneedling?
While standard microneedling relies solely on physical injury to stimulate collagen, RF Microneedling adds intense, targeted thermal (heat) energy deep into the dermis. This leads to much more dramatic skin tightening and deeper scar remodeling.
Is the procedure painful?
We use a highly potent topical numbing cream to ensure the procedure is as comfortable as possible. You will feel pressure and a brief, warm prickling sensation as the RF energy is delivered.
How many sessions are required for deep acne scars?
For significant improvement in deep scarring or noticeable skin tightening, we generally recommend a series of 3 to 5 sessions, spaced approximately 4 to 6 weeks apart.
